The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and perfect Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16
The True God
We believe there is one living and true God, self-existent, eternal, infinite and immutable, who exists in three equal persons, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. He is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present. Deuteronomy 6:4
Jesus Christ
We believe in the eternal Son of God, Jesus. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He was crucified and His blood atoned for the sins of the world. He remained physically dead and in the grave for three days and bodily rose from the grave. He ascended into heaven and will one day return to claim the church prior to a 7 year tribulation upon the earth and then return with His saints to establish His kingdom for 1000 years. He was fully God and fully man. Jesus is the only way to heaven! John 1:1, John 14:6, I Thessalonians 4:13-18
Salvation
We believe man is born with a sin nature and cannot overcome it himself. He must repent and accept the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross as payment for his sins. There is only one way to heaven and that is through the atoning work of Christ. Man will spend eternity in either heaven or in the torments of eternal hell. Salvation is completely by grace and cannot be earned. Romans 5:12, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9
Things to Come
We believe the next event on God’s calendar is the rapture of the church. No one knows the day or the hour in which he will come. Immediately following the rapture of the church the antichrist empowered by the devil will become the world leader and the world will endure seven years of tribulation. At the end of the seven years Jesus will return with the saints and defeat the antichrist and establish his kingdom for a thousand years on the earth. At the end of the thousand years the dead small and great will stand before God and give account for their lives. All who are not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Then God will create a new heaven and a new earth where all the saints will dwell with Him for eternity.
